HSS Medical Equipment Services
With the exponential growth of new medical equipment technology, the medical equipment maintenance needs of hospitals, clinics and medical practices are constantly changing. HSS currently serves more than 600 hospitals, clinics and medical practices to cost-effectively manage, maintain, and repair a wide range of medical equipment.
Factory-trained service technicians meet a wide range of service and repair demands in an on-site hospital, clinic or medical office practice setting and are fully trained in all phases of medical equipment maintenance and repair, including monitors, clinical laboratory equipment, microscopes, sterilizers and respiratory care equipment.
HSS uses a proprietary, computerized data management system to track equipment inventories, life history records, preventive maintenance scheduling, and documentation for The Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation. The database is used to provide an ongoing benchmark to failure analysis, service contract tracking, productivity, repair cost analysis, comparison by equipment class, and trend analysis to evaluate and recommend equipment replacement.
The HSS Maintenance Management Fund™ results in overall service contract savings of 40 to 60 percent, significantly contributing to the profitability of our clients. Please see our History section for more details.
The HSS WaterMizer™ water saving program for sterilizers results in more than 60 percent water usage savings and significant water department rebates. Contact us to find out if your sterlizer program qualifies for the WaterMizer program.
