HSS welcomes Katie Eyestone as VP, Planning and Market Intelligence. HSS created this position to refine the company’s strategic focus by collecting customer insights and translating them into innovative programs that create real value for customers. HSS asked Eyestone why she chose HSS and what she plans to contribute to the team:
HSS: How did you hear about HSS?
KE: I had worked with HSS as a consultant for about two years and was impressed with what I learned about the company. Part of that work was customer satisfaction research; it’s rare for a company to receive such consistently positive feedback as HSS did through these client interviews. I also enjoyed interacting with everyone I met from HSS.
HSS: Why did you take on this new role?
KE: Joining the organization as a leader in market intelligence and planning appealed to me because I have a lot of experience in those areas, and I hope to bring those skills to the organization in a useful way. HSS leadership is making a concerted effort to take an “outside in” view—or, asking for customer input—as we craft our strategies for the future.
HSS: What’s exciting about this job?
KE: Having spent the last 20 years in healthcare, I was thrilled to find a role that would let me apply that knowledge while learning a new industry. I look forward to learning from HSS about the world of security. I think the new role I’m in reflects the company’s commitment to involve the customer as we move forward. That’s an exciting thing to be a part of.
