HSS has one of the most rigorous employee screening and selection programs in healthcare, hiring only one out of seven applicants. HSS Human Resources interviews and investigates every applicant, including, if applicable, your current security guards. Your onsite HSS Security Program Manager interviews and approves the placement of each successful applicant.
Successful applicants:
- Are in good physical health and condition.
- Have at least a high school diploma or GED.
- Have a customer service attitude.
- Pass an employment background check, criminal history record check, drug screening, and security threat assessment.
- Pass a psychological exam/screen that assesses degrees of aggression, impulse control, and other psychopathology.
- Meet all local and state licensing requirements for healthcare security personnel.
